We are currently experiencing problems with the gate paddles at Derwent Mouth Lock on the Trent & Mersey, resulting in the lock not fully equalising. An inspection will be carried out on Friday 9th October to identify the extent of the damage and to hopefully undertake a temporary repair.
The Lock is still operation but will take longer to open than usual. We will update this notice when we have further information.
