Third-party contractors will be onsite at Deansgate Railway Viaduct on the Rochdale Canal to carry out a detailed bridge inspection.
The works will take place from 8 am on Monday 19 October 2026, until 5pm on Sunday 25 October 2026.
A safety boat will be onsite in the canal. Signage will be in place and we request all customers to approach the area with caution and take any instruction from contractors on site.
There may be a short delay but we anticipate a wait of no longer than 30 minutes.
