Third party contractors will be on site at Bridge 209, Bartington on the Trent & Mersey Canal to carry out some maintenance works to the beams and minor pointing.
The works will take place from 8.00am on Monday 19 October until 5.00pm on Friday 20 November 2026.
There may be a short delay for boaters while a pontoon is moved out of the way and there may also be short delays for towpath users while equipment is being repositioned to allow safe passage.
Please follow the advice of the contractors on site.
