Third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 124A Railway Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to undertake repairs to the railway bridge from the towpath.
The works will take place from 8 am on Sunday 1 November 2026, until 7 pm on Sunday 1 November.Signage will be on site and marshals will be in attendance for the duration of the works to assist customers along the towpath and move any tools and equipment to one side.
Please approach the area with caution and follow any directions given by contractors on site. There may be up to a 20 min delay whilst access is made safe.
