A third-party walking event will be taking place on Thursday 1st October 2026 from 9:00am until 5:00pm on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
The event will take place between Bridge 225H, Railway Bridge to Lock 19, Hirst Lock.
The towpath will remain open, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
