Navigation is currently closed between Lock 24 West and Lock 29 West, on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to a failure to the tail gate at Lock 29 West, making the lock inoperable.
Our local team are currently on site carrying out inspections to identify the cause of the failure. Once the inspection has been completed, the team will be able to determine the most appropriate method of repair.
A update will be provided on or before Friday 2 October.
