An additional navigation closure is required to facilitate water leak prevention works.
The works involve the installation of a horseshoe dam, which will temporarily block the navigation and allow the affected section to be dewatered. This will enable approximately 10m² of damaged brickwork to be removed and replaced to seal a breach in the canal wall and prevent further water loss.
