Bridge 17, Camms Mill, Brighouse - Installation of a working scaffolding platform carrying out bridge repair works

Contractors are erecting a working scaffolding platform spanning the canal to the east elevation of Camms Mill Bridge, to support the Masonry repair works to the bridge parapet, due to recent vehicle impact. Towpath will be unrestricted and these works will not affect towpath users.

Boaters are asked to approach the area with caution and follow instructions from any marshals on site. Although the canal will not be restricted during the construction works, boaters may be ask to wait whilst the area is made safe during the erection and take down of the scaffolding platform spanning the canal.
