Between Malthouse Basin Bridge and Bar Lock Footbridge, Gas Street Basin, Birmingham

Due to security requirements associated with the Conservative Party Conference taking place at the ICC, the towpath adjacent to the ICC and all associated moorings will be temporarily suspended.

The affected area extends from Bar Lock Footbridge, Gas Street, to Malthouse Basin Bridge. Security fencing, signage and security personnel will be present throughout the closure period.

Please do not moor within this section, as moorings will be suspended and the towpath will be closed to public access.
