Please could boaters be aware that a crane will be lifting turbines from a vessel in the canal onto the truck stop at Whitley. Pontoons will be in the water along with the vessel. These are expected to be craned into the water and with the main lifting operations from the vessel on Friday 4th September and pontoons lifted back out after the lift.
