Please be advised that Sykehouse Lock is currently closed due to the lock gates being inoperable. As a result, the navigation is closed until further notice. Boaters are advised not to attempt to navigate through the lock and to plan their journeys accordingly. Our teams are aware of the issue and will arrange for the necessary works to restore the lock to operation as soon as practicable. Further updates will be provided when more information becomes available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and cooperation.
