We have had confirmation from contractors that the obstruction has been removed.
The navigation is now open as normal.

Please be advised that the navigation is currently closed due to a fallen tree obstructing the canal near Bridge 41A (Sandy Lane Bridge). Location: ///mint.voters.hike The navigation will remain closed until further notice while arrangements are made to assess and remove the obstruction. Boaters are advised not to attempt to pass through this section and to plan their journeys accordingly. Further updates will be provided once the obstruction has been cleared and the navigation is safe to reopen.
