Cadley lock 54 to Froxfield bottom lock.

Please be advised that we have received reports of customers experiencing difficulty navigating sections of the canal between Cadley lock 54 and Crofton Summit lock, as well as Bedwyn to Froxfield bottom lock. For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to close the navigation from Cadley Lock 54 to Froxfield Bottom Lock 70.

This will be reviewed daily until safe navigation is restored. Other factors such as low ground water feeding Wilton Water and low water on the long pound have affected our pumping strategy. We anticipate that recharge may take a number of days.
