Third-party contractors will be on site at Bridge 37, Buxton Road Bridge on the Macclesfield Canal to carry out a detailed inspection of the canal bridge.
The works will take place from 8am to 6pm on Tuesday 22 September 2026.
A pontoon and scaffolding will be in place during the inspection. Please approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the equipment to be moved safely. Please also follow any instructions given by the contractors on site.
We expect any delays to be no longer than 30 minutes.
