Please be advised that contractors working on behalf of Wessex Water are digging a trench from an existing manhole on the canal path to the grass nearby, where a bollard will be placed containing a piece of water monitoring equipment.

Cables will be placed in the trench to connect to the monitor in the bollard, and the trench will then be backfilled.

Please observe any signs and approach with caution.
