To help conserve water resources and support navigation through the current dry conditions, restrictions will be introduced on the Tardebigge Lock Flight from Wednesday 19 August.
The flight will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only, operating between 8:30am and 3:00pm. Boaters wishing to use the flight must enter no later than 12:00 noon, with passage permitted between 8:30am and 3:00pm. The flight will be closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Boaters planning to ascend the flight are reminded that the last opportunity to turn around is immediately above Lock 23. Please ensure you are able to complete your passage within the available operating window before proceeding beyond this point.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep these arrangements under regular review. We appreciate boaters' patience and cooperation as we work to manage water resources and maintain navigation wherever possible.
