The bridge is closed due to rotten and missing decking boards. The condition of the deck means the bridge is unsafe for use, and access is prohibited until repairs can be completed. Our local operations team have been notified and will attend as soon as possible. The bridge will remain closed until the structure has been made safe. We will provide further updates as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience while we carry out essential safety work.
