Bridge 81, Misterton Wharf Bridge

Works are being carried out to repair damage to the bridge parapet following a vehicle strike. The navigation will remain open, but boaters should be aware of temporary scaffolding and personnel working around the bridge. Recovery of coping stones will also be carried out from a workboat in the navigation, where boaters may be required to wait for the workboat to be moved and/or be safely managed past. 

The towpath beneath the bridge will be closed during the works. Towpath users will be able to leave the towpath at either side of the bridge, cross via the road bridge (which will be closed to vehicle traffic), and re-join the towpath on the opposite side.
