Third-party contractors will be on site between Bridge 127, Sealand Road and Lock 3 on the Dee Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal to allow the removal of flood defence gates.
The works are scheduled to take place from 6pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026 until 10pm on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we would request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors on site.
