Bridge 88A M6 Bridge (Longford), Penkridge, Stafford

Third-party contractors will be carrying out inspection works to M6 Bridge 88A (Longford), Penkridge, Staffordshire, on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal.

The inspection will be undertaken from the towpath using a scaffold tower and from the waterway using a floating pontoon. Both the scaffold tower and pontoon will be positioned to allow the continued passage of boats and towpath users.

Boaters and towpath users are asked to proceed with care when passing through the work area and to follow any signage or instructions provided by the site team.

Advance warning signs will be displayed both upstream and downstream of the works.
