Out of Service - Bridge 147, Wink Well Swing bridge, Bourne End

We are pleased to advise a repair has been completed and the bridge is now operational. Thank you for your patience whilst the work was undertaken.

We have been advised that a replacement part is currently being sourced for this repair. Unfortunately, this means we need to extend this notice until the part has been received and fitted. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding and will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.

Due to a hydraulic fault, Bridge 147, Winkwell Swing Bridge remains out of service.

We are currently waiting for a replacement part, which is preventing repairs from being completed.

Contractors will be on site on Monday 10 August and repairs will be carried out once the part has arrived.

A further update will be provided on Monday 10 August.

Please be advised that, due to a hydraulic fault, Bridge 147 Wink Well Swing Bridge is currently out of service. Our team is aware of the issue and will attend as soon as possible to carry out the necessary repairs and restore the bridge to full operation.
