Please could boaters be aware that a crane will be lifting turbines from a vessel in the canal onto the truck stop at Whitley. Pontoons will be in the water along with the vessel.
Please follow the Contractors instructions. Boaters and public using the towpath may have to wait for 30 minutes to be allowed to get past safely during the critical moving times.
