Description

Original 6 August 2026, 2:03pm

Contractors working on behalf of High Speed 2 Limited will be building the High Speed 2 Curzon 3 railway viaduct over the Digbeth Branch Canal. During this time the canal and canal towpath will need to be closed due to lifting and other high risk operations. We are currently exploring whether opportunities may exist to provide temporary navigation openings during the works; however, this remains under review and cannot be guaranteed at this stage. Further updates will be provided as arrangements are confirmed.
