A 24-hour navigation closure is currently in place between Bank Newton and Gargrave following high levels of boat traffic over the weekend & yesterday. This temporary closure will allow water levels within the section to recover.
Our local team will continue to closely monitor water levels and will carry out a further assessment at midday tomorrow.
A further update will be provided once this review has been completed.
