Following further assessment by the team, a temporary workaround has been put in place which will allow the lock to operate while volunteer lock keepers are on site.
The lock will be available for passage between 09:30 and 16:30 daily. Outside of these hours (16:30 to 09:30), the lock will be unavailable for use.
We are continuing to work towards a permanent repair and will update this notice as soon as further information becomes available.

Due to an unexpected electrical fault, passage through Stoke Lock is currently not possible.
We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and the team will return to site tomorrow to carry out further testing.
