Lock 16 (Oakmeadowford Lock)

Our Reactive Response Team will be carrying out investigations and repair works at Lock 16 (Oakmeadowford Lock) from Monday 3 August to Wednesday 5 August. The works will include investigating a leakage issue at the bottom of the lock and attempting repairs to the mooring landing below the lock. To facilitate these works safely, navigation through Lock 16 will be closed for the duration of the works.

Please note that the Caldon Canal will already be subject to a navigation closure due to low water levels. The notice for this can be found here:
