Lock 1 (Wardle Lock) and Lock 4 (Cholmondeston Lock) on the Middlewich Branch

Navigation between Lock 1 (Wardle Lock) and Lock 4 (Cholmondeston Lock) on the Middlewich Branch will continue to be closed, from 3pm until 9am daily due to low water levels at Barbridge Pound caused by the continued dry weather.

Padlocks will be placed between Lock 1 and Lock 4 to prevent access onto the Middlewich Flight.

An update will be provided on or before Friday 7 August.
