As the leak at Great Heck is still evident, the water levels along the Aire and Calder Navigation will continue to be lowered by 300mm from Ferrybridge Floodgate to Goole, to allow for further investigations and repairs to take place.
This will also have an impact on water levels on the New Junction Canal, towards Sykehouse Lock.
Please could boaters moored in these areas, ensure that ropes are loosened accordingly.
This notice will be updated as soon as water levels can safely be returned to normal.
