Descriptions

Update 27 July 2026, 2:16pm

A fallen tree is obstructing the navigation, restricting the passage of boats. Narrowboats are able to pass with care; however, wide beam vessels are currently unable to navigate through this section. We have appointed third-party contractors to carry out the removal works, and they are scheduled to attend site tomorrow to remove the fallen tree and restore full navigation. We will provide a further update once the works have been completed.
