Lock 9, Mile end Regents Canal

Please be advised all repair works are complete at Mile End Lock, and the area is being cleared. The lock will reopen at 9am tomorrow morning.

The essential repair work at Mile End Lock is due to start on Thursday 13th August and is expected to take two days to complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding while the repairs are being completed.

Please be advised our engineer is continuing to establish a timeline for the required repairs. We will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue.

We hope to advise a timeline of repair on Monday 3rd August.
