Great Bedwyn (above Church Lock 64)

Please note that there is a correction to the mooring information contained within our previous notice.

The permanent moorings at Great Bedwyn and the towpath mooring opposite the works do not need to be vacated from 17 August as previously stated.

These moorings must be kept clear from the morning of 24 August for the duration of the works.

All other information within the original notice remains unchanged.

We apologise for any confusion caused and thank you for your cooperation.

Soft bank protection works will be carried out on the offside of the navigation between Church Lock (64) and Bridge 97.

Narrowboats and other small craft – There will be no restriction to navigation.

Larger vessels and wide-beam craft – You may experience short delays while we temporarily move equipment to allow safe passage. Please allow extra time for your journey.

Moorings – The permanent moorings at Great Bedwyn and the towpath mooring opposite the works need to be kept clear from 17 August 2026 for the duration of the works.
