We are pleased to advise the repairs have been completed and the lock has re-opened. Thank you for your patience whilst this work was undertaken.

Bottom metal gates have been struck and the seal has partially detached.
With water levels already low upstream and we are unable to take from upstream pounds to sustain or replace, then we have to close until we can get a boat onsite to fix.
The Lock will be closed until repairs have been completed.
