Please be advised that a tree has fallen and is currently restricting access along the towpath between Lock 56 and Bridge 143.

Contractors have been scheduled to attend and remove the tree as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve this issue and restore full access to the towpath at the earliest opportunity.
A further update will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
