Lock 20 will be closed on Tuesday, July 21st to allow the team to repair the paddle at Lock 20. We will be closing the flight from Lock 24, to prevent an excess of water in the area and to ensure that there is no boat movement during this time to prevent overtopping whilst the operatives are working and to keep the working environment safe.
Please obey any instructions given and wait until tasks have been completed. We will update the notice as soon as the repair works have been carried out and it is safe to reopen the lock. The job should only take a few hours and is vital to keep the lock operating in the safest conditions.
