Due to the complexity of the repair, we are not yet able to provide a timescale for the works to be completed.
The ramp on the low side approach mooring at Gunthorpe Lock remains cordoned off and should not be used.
We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will update this notice as soon as further information becomes available.

Due to structural damage, the ramp on the low side approach mooring at Gunthorpe lock has been cordoned off and is not safe to use at this time. When travelling upstream please use the landside ladder to access the lock, or wait for lock keeper assisted passage between the hours of 09:00am-4:30pm. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will update this notice when we have further information.
