Height restriction for crafts at Renton Bridge as water levels have increased by 50mm - reducing the air draft for crafts travelling under the bridge.

We have a navigation restriction in place for crafts that reach the maximum air draft needed to go under the bridge in normal circumstances. The canal level is 90mm higher than normal as we have had to store water in the pound between Oxclose Lock and Bellfurrows Lock. This has reduced the air draft for crafts by 90mm going under the bridge.
