Lock 65 (Wheelock Top Lock) towpath-side lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal, remains closed due to low water levels.
To help conserve water and maintain water levels within the canal, the towpath-side lock will remain closed until conditions improve.
The offside lock will reopen for navigation once the current closure between Locks 60 and 70 has been lifted.

Lock 65 towpath Lock (Wheelock top) on the Trent & Mersey Canal is currently closed due to low water levels.
To help manage and maintain water levels within the canal, the towpath side lock will remain closed until conditions return to a satisfactory level.
However the offside lock will remain open and available for navigation.
A further update will be provided on or before Monday 27 July.
