Low water between Ponders End Lock and Enfield Lock on the Lea navigation has resulted in boats grounding. To allow pound level to recover, Ponders End Lock and Enfield Lock will be closed until levels stabilise and the level can be sustained. Causes for the low water levels are under investigation.
