Further to the notice below we are pleased to confirm that water levels on the summit pound have successfully recovered. The pound will be open from 10am today. Opening hours remain the same for the summit: 0930 – 1530 hours. Please be very careful and follow all local instructions on locks. Please double check all paddles on top gates are seated correctly or further restrictions may apply.

Please be advised that, due to the extended period of dry weather, water levels are very low at the Summit Pound.
Unfortunately, we will be closing the summit from 3:00 pm today (Friday 10th July) onwards while water levels recover.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will update this notice as soon as more information becomes available.
