Underwater Obstruction near Bridge 2 Mearclough, 20 metre east of Bridge

Please be advised that there is a submerged obstruction, believed to be a ride-on lawnmower, located close to the towpath side of the canal at what3words: ///gosh.teams.final.

Boaters are advised to keep towards the centre of the channel when passing this location, as this will help avoid the obstruction.

We are making arrangements to remove the obstruction and will provide a further update once the work has been completed. Thank you for your cooperation.
