A suspected bloom of blue‑green algae has been identified in Slipper Hill Reservoir on The Leeds & Liverpool Canal. 

In order to prevent the algae from spreading, the Trust must take precautionary measures. As a result, Slipper Hill Reservoir  will be closed while the situation is assessed to prevent any further spread.

Signage will be displayed on site.
