National Grid have confirmed that they have installed a generator and the power is back on.
The locks are now back open for use as normal.

There has been a National Grid power failure in the Mexborough area resulting in there currently being no power going to the locks.
Once we have more information from National Grid regarding when the power will be back on this notice will be updated.
