Following attendance on site, it has been identified that stop planks are required to facilitate the repair.

Once the stop planks are in place, we will be able to access the area safely and commence the necessary repair works to refit the paddle.

We apologise for the continued inconvenience and will provide a further update once the materials are secured and works progress.

Please be advised that the paddle at Lock 3 has dislodged from its runners and requires remedial work to be refitted. Our local operations team are scheduled to be on-site tomorrow to conduct a thorough assessment of the damage and put together a repair plan. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure causes.
