Navigation is restricted at Brunswick Lock due to a fault affecting the hydraulic motor mounting that operates the lock.
Further inspection and repair work are still required to rectify the issue. In the meantime, it has been agreed that the lock may be operated on a limited basis to provide access for Liverpool Marina customers.
Customers requiring to use the lock should contact Liverpool Marina directly for information of the restricted operating times.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued patience and understanding while these essential repairs are carried out.
A further update will be issued on or before Friday, 31 July.

Navigation remains closed at Brunswick Lock due to a fault with the hydraulic motor mounting that operates the lock.
Our engineers have attended site and carried out an initial inspection of the lock. Further investigation is now required, and specialist contractors will be attending early next week to investigate further and plan a method of repair.
A further update will be provided on or before Wednesday, 15 July.
