Please be advised that, due to the size of the tree, contractors have only been able to carry out partial clearance at this time. The obstruction is still affecting navigation. Narrowboats should be able to pass with care however, widebeam vessels may experience difficulty navigating through the area. Contractors are due to reattend today to continue work. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding

A large tree has fallen and is blocking the navigation east of bridge 11. Our teams are addressing this and this notice will be updated when we receive further information. Thank you for your patience.
