Our M&E team has attended the site today but it has been found that the potentially faulty sensor is high up on the frame and is not accessible from the ground.
The contractor, Amco has been asked to attend tomorrow, Saturday 20th, with a vehicle and bucket which can offer access to the sensor.
This notice will be updated no later than 16:00, Monday 22nd June, or as soon as any further updates become available.

The guillotine lock at the tail gates of Lock 3, Salterhebble bottom lock, are currently stuck in the upright position.
Our mechanical and Electrical team will be on site tomorrow, Friday 19th June, to attempt to rectify this by fitting a new sensor. The lock remains out of use this time.
