Claydon Top Lock 17 to Claydon Bottom lock 21

We would like to update you that, following repairs carried out by our team to the paddle at Lock 21 on the Claydon Flight yesterday evening, we are delighted to confirm that the assisted passage arrangement will be lifted from 10am today.

This means the Claydon Flight is once again fully operational and open to all users with no restrictions.   We would like to thank everyone for their patience, cooperation and support while the assisted passage was in place. 

We're pleased to let you know that assisted boat passage supported by our team and volunteers will be available from today until further notice, with the following operating hours:

10:00am – 2:00pm

Please note that the final boat will enter the lock flight at 2:00pm. The locks will then be secured by 3:00pm each day.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to safely guide everyone through the lock flight while our engineers plan the repairs on the offside bottom gate at Lock 21.
