Lock 17, Stoke Bruerne lock flight, Towcester

We will still be carrying out fishery management work on the Stoke Bruerne Flight on 4 January as previously advertised.

However, due to a fish rescue now being incorporated into the construction works scheduled to commence on 11 January, the second day of fishery management work originally planned for 5 January is no longer required.

The remaining fishery management work will be completed on 4 January, allowing navigation through the flight to resume a day earlier than originally advertised.

This change will provide a longer period for boat movements before the flight closes again on 11 January for the planned construction works.
