  National Grid is undertaking pylon upgrade works and vegetation works close to the towpath on the upstream approach to St Mary's Mill Lock 40 and the upstream approach to Freemans Meadow Lock 41, Leicester on the Grand Union Leicester Line from Monday, 15th June until Friday, 10th July between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm.

The works only affect the lock upstream approach towpaths, the navigation is unaffected.  All works will be undertaken with stewards managing the works to allow safe passage.

Please be aware of increased activity in the area.  Please follow any advice given and proceed with care.
