The collar on the towpath side top gate at Belgrave Lock 44, Leicester, is loose, preventing the gate from forming a tight seal. The offside top gate middle paddle is also currently inoperable. The lock is operable but the bottom gates require some force or potentially two people to operate. We are attending to repair or preplace the collar as soon as possible and will update this notice when we have more information.
